Actualfoto international archive

Actualfoto is a photographic agency founded in the early 1950s by the brothers Giancarlo and Pierino Piccinini. It is the first international sports photography agency, which traces the history of world motoring.

Its photographic archive includes approximately 8 million analogue images from the 1950s to the early 2000s. Adding up all the digital shots, the account today rises to around 30 million.

Actualfoto's images are exhibited in the museums of the most prestigious car manufacturers: at the Honda Museum in Japan, at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, at the Mercedes Museum as well as at the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari.
