MomaPIX is software for archiving, promoting and selling digital assets (photos, videos and PDF documents). Thanks to years of development and hundreds of direct meetings with its clients, MomaPIX has reached a maturity that is recognised by hundreds of clients including agencies, publishers and professional photographers both in Italy and abroad.

MomaPIX characteristics vary depending on the version (MomaPIX ONE for photographers and MomaPIX PLUS for agencies), the configuration and the use that is made of each available module.

MomaPIX PLUS is the main product of MomaSoft, a technological partner and solution provider for photo agencies. Extensive experience in customising solutions has permitted MomaSoft to gain the trust of many agencies and became a leading reference point in this market.   

MomaPIX PLUS for photography agencies

MomaPIX PLUS is the professional, multi-user version developed especially for photography agencies. In this version the archive’s management control panel is divided between a public section (which is visible to clients) and a reserved section (which may only be accessed by the editor and one or more authorised users). Agency photographers upload their photos in the reserved area. The editor checks the metadata and the photo quality, and then moves the photos to the public area and distributes them to agency clients. A module for automatic translation is also available.
MomaPIX PLUS also provides advanced statistics on each photo enlarged, downloaded, or sold - by each client and/or of each photographer.
The direct sales module is optional. When integrated with the negotiation tool, it allows the agency to manage the sales process by using a shopping cart and royalty-free, right-managed or negotiated rates.
MomaPIX PLUS has been developped for:

Photojournalism agencies where clients are generally from the world of publishing (newspapers, periodicals and magazines in general). Each registered client/publication can access the site thanks to one or more dedicated accounts, download material of interest which, depending on the contract type, is accounted for and billed at the end of the month or paid as a subscription.

Stock photo agencies where each image published is paid on the basis of the requested use. The direct sales module lets you establish a price list from which the client chooses the rate. The negotiation tool, which is available on request, allows for negotiating the price on the basis of specific needs.

Agencies that like to join other Agencies and represent them in his country/market without compromise their own archive organization. MomaPIX provides a professional and easy way to do this with a dedicated module. Each agency may mantain the Hi-Resolution photos on their own server and do not needs to send them to the joined agencies.

MomaPIX ONE for photographers

MomaPIX One is a streamlined version of the software for photographers who want to manage their professional business with the support of the internet. MomaPIX ONE has been developped for:

Photojournalists (news, sport, entertainment, reporting) who have clients in the publishing sector. With MomaPIX ONE, photographers upload photos online and promote each photo service with a newsletter (email html), which is generated directly by the site. Clients can register independently and, if authorised by the photographer, they can download photos for publication. Each newsletter may be sent to hundreds of potential clients at the same time.

Specialised photographers of sports or events which are not of interest to publishers. Many professionals resell photographs to event organisers or participants. In this case, MomaPIX allows you to manage the print requests or digital files of each individual picture of the event online - thanks to the direct sales module for digital images or prints.

Photographers who work on commission - from wedding photos to advertising shots. Professionals who work on commission can present commissioned works to their clients exclusively and privately.

Photographers with a historic archive to promote. All of the images produced over decades of work may be promoted with archiving and indexing through a website that offers an advanced search engine.
